About Julie Parsons
Julie Parsons has performed across the world in dozens of countries and countless venues ranging from concert halls to living rooms - bringing music and fun to the party wherever she goes. She and her music have been featured in publications including the Washington Post, who called her original song "sassy and sensual"; Vienna News (graced the cover with the President of Austria, Rudolf Kirchschlager) and on live TV (Star Search, Spotlight, and the European Song Contest in Tel Aviv). Julie released several records on the Atom label, won multiple awards including the Washington Area Music Association (WAMMIES) and the New York Pro Am Song Contest, but most importantly from audiences themselves who keep coming back again and again (“sometimes the audiences are too much to handle and we need to put them on a wait list!” - DC-area Restaurant Manager).
Mission
The Julie Parsons Project is group of talented professional musicians that can be configured in a variety of ways to meet the needs of a particular event or performance. The groups range from a folk/pop duo to a jazz trio to a husband and wife duo performing selections from the American Songbook to a 5 -7 piece dance band.
Vision
There is nothing better than to feel that people are loving the music that I love making. In that moment of deep connection, we are all lifted on the wings of the music.
